Kerriann
Kerriann Flanagan Brosky is an
author, photographer and historian who studied under world renowned photographer
Arthur Leipzig. She worked as a photographer for Newsday and as a photographer
and columnist for local newspapers. She has worked in fine art and freelance
photography, as well as in public relations where she combined both her talents
as a photographer and as a writer.
Kerriann is the author of five
illustrated non-fiction books, which range from two books on the history of
Huntington, New York, two books on Long Island ghosts stories, and an Italian
cookbook which she co-authored and photographed. She is also a key note speaker
on local history and ghost stories.
When not concentrating on her
career, Kerriann is an active, full-time mother of two sons. She enjoys spending
time with them and her husband Karl along the seaside shores of Long Island
where she was born and raised.
